Last week we were down at the ever popular BrightonSEO, and as usual it didn’t disappoint.
Thursday was reserved for the main event, and we found the exhibition hall filling up quickly from the moment the doors opened at 9:00. Although Kelvin was joking the night before that they may have to turn people away, the sheer number of attendees for the conference can’t have been far off full capacity – with an estimated 2500 people expected for the day.
Usually I get a chance to attend some talks, but with our stand being constantly swamped (not that I am complaining), I only managed to catch fellow speakers for the “lightning talks” at the end of the day. Lightning talks essentially allow a large number of speakers to cover a wide range of topics in a short space of time.
Our lightning talk was titled “Make more money by integrating your data“, and you can find a copy of the slides below.
Roller Racing Competition
After the sessions finished, we once again had the pleasure of bringing Roller Racing back to the Dome, and as the beer started to flow the competition for the £250 prize fund heated up.
High intensity cardio is never complimentary to a few beers, but we are thankful to those of you who took part.
For those of you wanting to know -or trying to remember – where you finished on the final leaderboard, please see the results below:
Massive congratulations to Anna for winning the ladies £250 prize!
I somehow managed to come in first place, but I’m not taking the mens £250 prize. At Calltracks HQ we thought it would be better put to use in a special beer and gin fund to share with you all at the next event, and make September Brighton SEO even more epic!
As always if you want to find out more, have any questions, or what to give me some feedback, please get in touch or leave a comment.Tags: brighton seo, event, PPC, roller racing, seo
