Case Study: Speedy Registrations
Speedy Registrations is a company based in Northern Ireland selling private number plates.
The Problem
The companys' online advertising is based around PPC with search engines such as Yahoo and Google. It also places advertisements in a range of print publications including Exchange and Mart, Auto Trader and The Sunday Times.
Earlier this year, during a review of its marketing activities, Speedy Registrations realised that it lacked crucial data on the relationship between adverts, enquiries and sales. The company had made attempts to measure the outcome of each campaign, but had never been able to capture accurate and comprehensive information on the results of its adverts.
Speedy Registrations approached Calltracks looking for a simple, cost-effective way to capture this information - and we were able to offer a solution.
The Solution
We provided Speedy Registration with a range of non-geographic phone numbers: one for each advert in each region of each publication.
We also provided a range of dynamic telephone numbers for use on Speedy Registrations web site. The number displayed on the site changes according to the search engine and search keyword the customer used to find the site.

The Answers
The Calltracks system captures full details of every incoming telephone call, including date and time, source and outcome. All this information is logged automatically, with no effort required from either Speedy Registrations of their customers.
Speedy Registrations have access to hourly reports showing the number of calls receieved, the number of sales and the total sales value. Data is provided for each advert, broken down by region and publication, and for each online keyword.
We also provide regular CSV reports and full access to the Calltracks Speedy Registrations database, allowing the company to create customised and up-to-date reports at any time.
For the first time, Speedy Registrations has been able to draw upon accurate information and make an informed decision on which of its adverts are effective - and which are not. The company can see at a glance which adverts and ketwords are bringing in business.
Speedy Registrations is now starting to tailor its advertising in response to the information provided by Calltracks. Our technology is improving its business.
